Dreaming is a powerful practice for personal and collective healing that is accessible to every human being. This one-day virtual summit will encourage and empower people across communities to engage with dreaming as a personal and collective practice, one that has been known to all of our ancestors and every culture on the planet. Participants will gain a better understanding of what is happening when we dream, how to unpack or “work” a dream, how to use creative methods to utilize the “waking dream,” and how to develop a daily dream practice. We will explore dreaming as a tool to empower our waking life and better understand why dreaming is essential for growing the future we want.
This workshop is accessible to dreamers across the spectrum of experience, including those who don’t remember dreams. There will be something valuable for everyone. People are asked to attend the introduction and keynote sessions and can attend other classes of their choice throughout the day. Classes will be taught by advanced student dreamers who will be offering their unique dream applications and include: The Dream as Muse for Creative Expression, Shadow Work: Nightmares, Dreaming and the Pineal Gland, Plants & Rituals of the Dreamtime, Growing a Dream Practice, and Why Dreaming is Essential for Us at This Time (keynote). There will also be three dream groups where participants can bring a dream to explore in a supportive environment.
This is a benefit event for Bridging Spirit’s grant program. Through our grant program we support BIPOC participants interested in exploring earth-based spirituality & healing and emerging BIPOC practitioners committed to our mission and values. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go directly to funding individual grants. We are asking for a minimum donation of $55 to cover the operational costs of this event. Because we are committed to supporting and increasing BIPOC participation, members of that community may opt to provide a lesser amount when registering. We also hope participants will consider donating more or funding a full grant at an amount of $175, $350 or $525. Click on the link below for more information.
