Introduction to Family & Systems Constellation CEs (Day 1)

Family Constellations is an effective healing modality that is underutilized when compared to other somatic interventions like psychodrama, partswork, and group psychotherapy. This workshop, co-taught by Akhila Elizabeth Ann Kolesar, Ph.D, Sarah MacLean Bicknell and Seth Pardo, Ph.D, aims to introduce the field of Family and Systems Constellation while providing mental health practitioners with an opportunity to experience how this modality may be applied in the contexts of individual psychotherapy, small groups, and supportive large group formats. 7 CEs available for mental health professionals.

On day one of this workshop, participants will learn core principles of Family Constellation and how these can be applied with clients to aid in social relating, conflict resolution, emotion and trauma processing, while also sharpening clinicians’ knowledge of trauma types (single-incident, complex, intergenerational, and vicarious). Teaching will be offered through didactic instruction, small group experiences, and large group constellations so that participants can experience how this modality can be applied online and in-person, as well as with individual clients or groups of any size. Dydactic portions will be instructed by Akhila E. A. Kolesar, Seth T. Pardo, and Sarah Maclean Bicknell.

Teachings are appropriate for healthcare professionals as well as the general public. Healthcare professionals will be able to incorporate the tools and practices offered in this program in ways beneficial to clients or patients.

Participants may register for Day One only, Day Two only, or for the full workshop as both days. Note that CE’s are only available for Day One of the workshop. Those wishing to receive CE’s must attend the entire workshop on Day One. No partial credit can be given. No CEs are provided for Day Two of the workshop.
